With the end of the Pelago Spring Tournament, there has emerged one victor! Congratulations, GEORGIA! You have now been crowned the STRONGEST IN THE ARCHIPELAGO! Depending on how people view your title for winning the tournament, it can result in people attempting to fight you since you’re the strongest in the area or even benefits depending on who you RP with!

Along with this, you have received 50,000G, a FREE BOAT RENTAL FOR YOUR NEXT VOYAGE, and a VALIANT HORSE ARMOR, a special set of a mask and long gloves that will boost the physical defense of the wearer by 10! However, you need to be wearing the entire set for it to work. It doesn’t do anything if you’re only wearing the mask, sorry, I don’t make the rules of horse-based-defensery.

The RUNNER UP FOR THE TITLE, GWEN, will receive 25,000G for getting that far! The WINNER OF THE BRONZE MATCH, CLAIRE, will receive 10,000G!

Also, on top of these prizes, there will be experience distributed depending on how far each combatant got in the tournament! This experience can be used to level up to do better in the next tournament and in future battle scenarios!

Kana really didn’t notice his surroundings, and while he admits to being the one at fault here, he didn’t expect the lecture even if she did seem like that type to do just that. No wonder she’s the class president. “Uh– yeah. Sorry for that. I’ll pay more attention next time.”

He propped his glasses up, not really needing them but they made for a good accessory.“Nothing happened today, Yoshida-san. Don’t worry. Everyone was nice and welcoming, I even got free snacks today, ha ha!” True enough, it didn’t take him long to get acquainted with the people in his class as well as some of his teachers. That was a specialty of his. The perks of being a chill and out-going guy.

“Sorry if I ended up worrying ya- but don’t sweat it. I’m seriously fine.” He tried to get her to stop worrying by laughing it out and quickly changed the subject. “You said you were walking back home yeah? Mine’s along this road, too. I’ll walk you back for your troubles.”

░ ⚒️ ░ ❝ Is that so ?❞ Strange. If it wasn’t that, than what was the reason? From the looks of things, he wasn’t willing to admit anything and so Iroha backs down, not wanting to pry much further. Her duties were within the school, and if he says he did not encounter any problems in that department, then she should just let it go.

❝There’s no need .I live farther than most people, and it’s best to avoid any misinterpretations .❞ He was popular, after all. And she was the opposite. Iroha knew how gossipy her peers can be so she’d prefer avoiding any rumors.

❝ I’ll walk ahead of you now . See you tomorrow, Hamada-kun . I hope your problems find a solution soon .❞ Even if he denied it, Iroha’s instincts told her otherwise and so she sends her best regards anyway before going off. She still had a long walk ahead of her, and the skies looked gray. It might rain soon.

(𝗯𝘁𝘁𝗽: 7 𝘆𝗿𝘀) 𝗯𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀;

Years ago, prior to moving back in Arcadia, Kana moved back to Japan with his family with hopes of things getting better if they did. It was good to be back in the land of the rising sun, but to come here because of his circ*mstances… that hardly was a cause to celebrate.

Still, he didn’t want to worry his parents and went along with their plan for him finish his last year of highschool at the local school– or at least, the last remaining months. He’d rather stay at home and take care of his Ma, but even she insisted to finish his education.

And so he did. Kana acted like everything was fine and was able to power through his first day in a new environment. When classes came to an end, however, he felt the weight of it all as he walked back home. He was eager to go back home and see his mom, but he wasn’t looking forward to seeing her in her weakened state. She’d pretend everything was alright, but Kana knew better.

Kana was lost in thought as he idly walked back home when a voice interrupts his thoughts. He snapped out of the trance and realized it was his classmate and school guide. The quiet and ever so responsible class president of his class, Iroha Yoshida.

“Yo, Yoshida-san. What are you doing here?” He didn’t even notice her earlier and was genuinely surprised when she called out to him. He was about to throw some pleasantries when she caught him by surprise again.“Huh? I’m alright, thanks for asking. Is there something in my face?” He wiped both his cheeks just to be sure, feigning innocence to her question.

░ ⚒️ ░ Iroha admits to being judgmental at times. When she’s laid out facts, she uses them to make educated assumptions and often used that as a basis for judging people. To her, Kana Hamada was the usual extroverted and incredibly loud guy that never ran out of things to say. Easygoing. Carefree. And without any worries.

All of her assumptions seemed to be wrong right now as she looked up at the taller male’s more serious and gloomy expression, the exact opposite of all the things she thought about him when he first introduced himself in class. She waited patiently for him to acknowledge her and was surprised to hear his question.

❝ I was ... walking back home .❞So she was right, something was indeed wrong. He was attentive earlier at school and right now he was he opposite of that. He seemed to be lost in his thoughts earlier when she called out to him. ❝ It’s dangerous to walk without awareness of your surroundings , Hamada-kun . I was right in front of you the whole time and you didn’t notice — you could potentially hurt people if you kept that up .❞

❝ There’s nothing on your face but ... you don’t seem to be quite alright . Did something happen in school ? If you have any worries , you should inform me or a teacher as soon as possible .❞ He didn’t seem like the type to be bullied but he was a transferee, so there was always that possibility. He’s popular with the girls in their class so the boys could have ganged up on him. Iroha hoped not.

𝗵𝗲𝘆, 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗿;

[ ♥ ] — It had been an absolute delight to hear that her dear friend Iroha decided to settle down in Leuda. Felicity first met her as a child, when the other girl would visit the island in the summertime. Those subsequent yearly visits were the only times they ever got to spend together, but those encounters had to end entirely once Felicity graduated and left to study abroad.

Because of that, the two of them hadn’t been able to see each other properly in years, though they still kept up communication through e-mails and letters.

So when Iroha informs Felicity of her settling in, and invites her over for lunch, the aspiring gourmet practically jumps at the chance to catch up with her old friend! And, of course, to dine on some lovely Asian cuisine. ♡

Coincidentally enough, Iroha ended up moving into a home in Felicity’s neighborhood, so it wasn’t difficult to find her at all. Humming, she approaches the doorstep with a housewarming gift she’d purchased on the way here: a bouquet of lovely dianthus flowers. From what Felicity could remember, they were Iroha’s favorite.

Smiling sweetly, she knocks on the door.

░ ⚒️ ░ Not long after Iroha’s initial blunder with the sushi, she heard soft knocks from her front door, notifying her that her guest arrived. She wasn’t done with the sushi yet, but she could always make them in front of Felicity. It wasn’t rare for sushi chefs to make them in front of their customers, and it’d be a good excuse to make up for her lack of time management.

She quickly washed her hands and went straight to the door. Her lips tug into a small smile as she was not only greeted by Felicity’s sweet smile, but a bouquet of her favorite flowers as well. How thoughtful!❝ It’s good to see you again , Felicity. You seem well .❞

She bowed as a greeting and soon stepped aside to let her guest in, eyes wandering back to the bouquet of pink flora. ❝ It’s sweet that you remembered these are my favorites . They never fail to remind me of home .❞ Even from where she stood, they smelled wonderful.

𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲;

Luke had been working at the blacksmiths all day, both doing some paperwork for inventory and for working on some requests for weapons. Near the end of the work day, Luke had been in the workshop finishing up a shield and he dropped it into the water, grinning when the temperature of the metal made the water sizzle along the surface of the shield.

It simmered down in volume and Luke raised his head when he saw Iroha approaching with a crestfallen expression. He was curious as to what could have made her so disappointed, and when she spoke and explained her work for the day, Luke gave her a reassuring and sympathetic smile.

“Aw, hey! Don’t worry about it, Iroha. C’mon, stand up.” He reached over and patted her on the shoulder to offer some support.“You didn’t fail. You’re still learning! Sometimes we gotta mess up a few times before we get it right. I know I screwed up a tonbefore I figured out how to make a sword that even looked straight! I still can’t make chairs look right…” His dad always teased him for that.

“Just keep working hard, and that’s what counts. What were you working on today?”

░ ⚒️ ░ Iroha didn’t know what to say when she was given words of encouragement. She wanted to insist that she did indeed fail, but that would be rude. Luke might have been a long time friend, but he was still her mentor. Her sensei. He deserved respect. Even if he does make odd chairs. ❝ ... I understand. Thank you for being so considerate .❞

She rose from her bowing position and tried to dismiss her crestfallen expression. Like he said, it’s normal to mess up before achieving the desired results. She just has to stop being too hard on herself.❝ I was trying to make tools today — a hammer . It broke in half while I was beating it .❞
